Roofing Company Celebrates Teachers Ahead of New School Year

A Florida-based roofing company treated teachers and staff at Mt. Dora High School to a complimentary breakfast on August 5 to honor educators ahead of the 2026-27 school year.

Skymark Roofing provided bagels, fresh fruit trays, coffee, juice, and more to all attendees. Each teacher also received a Skymark-branded lunch box stocked with cups, notepads, pens, and other essentials to help them prepare for the year ahead.

Homecoming

Several of Skymark’s employees graduated from Mt. Dora High School, a shared history which the company says drove it to invest back to the school that helped launch their careers.

“So many members of our team graduated from Mt. Dora High School, and coming back to celebrate the teachers and staff who are doing that same important work today is something we are genuinely proud of,” said Nick Cogswell, General Manager of Skymark Roofing.

“Giving back to the people who shaped us is personal for us, and we hope this breakfast is just the beginning of a lasting relationship with the educators, students, and families of Mt. Dora.”

The relationship between Skymark Roofing and Mt. Dora High School extends beyond the breakfast event. Kyle Bracewell, Principal of Mt. Dora High School, recently selected Skymark to replace the roof on his personal residence.

Dora High School, said: “Skymark did a great job on my roof, and when they reached out about celebrating our teachers before the new school year, saying yes was an easy call. Knowing that some of their team members sat in these same classrooms makes this feel like so much more than a free breakfast. It is a genuine homecoming.”
