Manufacturer Invests £1.2m in New Warehousing Facility

WORK IS now complete on Apollo Chemicals’ new £1.2m warehouse that aims to increase capacity and facilitate future growth for the privately-owned liquid adhesive, sealant, coating and primer manufacturer.

The investment was announced just five months after Tamworth-based Apollo opened a new £540,000 technical centre in response to growing business demand.

Commenting on the development, Apollo Managing Director, Ian Cornelius, said: “During the last five years, we have seen tremendous business growth and almost doubled the number of employees as we’ve developed the Apollo brand in the adhesive, construction and roofing sectors.

“We recognise that in order to continue to add value for our customers we need to continually invest in our infrastructure, and our people. By doing this we can respond to our customers’ needs as they develop and ensure that our processes run smoothly as we continue to grow our business.”

The new 1000m² warehousing facility includes streamlined loading and unloading areas and new processing systems to deliver products to customers more efficiently.
