Flex-R Joins Builders Merchants Federation

Specialist flat roofing supplier Flex-R has become a supplier member of the UK’s Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).

The decision to join the federation came hot on the heels of being crowned ‘Roofing Supplier of the Year’ at the recent Builders Merchants Journal Industry Awards 2025.

Enhanced Service

Flex-R has built its reputation in the builders’ merchant market for synthetic single ply EPDM membranes over the past 25 years. The company says joining the Builders Merchants Federation will enable it to further enhance and improve its continual drive to supply a quality service to this market.

The BMF membership comprises over 1000 building materials businesses that collaborate across the industry. It is an active federation with many initiatives that bring merchants and suppliers together to work more closely. It works with government bodies across the UK to stay up to date with topical issues, industry changes and new regulations. It also supports learning and development through its network, which with Flex-R says aligns perfectly with its own emphasis on training.
