Read the latest magazine People Roof Tiles Russell Roof Tiles Appoints Technical Specification Manager 15 May 2024 BURTON-BASED roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles (RRT) has introduced a new role in its technical sales team. The role of technical specification manager has been introduced to help further develop the company’s specification strategy and build its presence in the market. With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, newly appointed Dean Kemp brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the position. New Technical Specification Manager Dean, who has had a longstanding career in specification selling across many sectors will be overseeing the South East. His main responsibility will be to apply technical excellence to all levels of the business, developing Russell Roof Tiles’ presence across public sectors by providing support for local authorities, housing associations, specifiers and main contractors. Dean Kemp comments: “Joining Russell Roof Tiles has given me the opportunity to use my expertise to assist in building a successful division with all the relevant support mechanisms and product offering. It’s a welcome challenge to work with the whole team to develop a consultative approach from end users to installers, to achieve a top quality, fully compliant roofing system and package.” Andrew Hayward, MD at Russell Roof Tiles, adds: “Dean’s knowledge and insights will be instrumental in expanding Russell Roof Tiles’ presence in the specification market, particularly among our public sector clients. His role will enable him to collaborate more closely with architects, local authorities, and housing associations to drive growth for the business and deliver comprehensive CPD programs. “Dean will be a great asset to our growing team and we’re confident that his skillset will further enhance our customer service.” RRT Expansion This appointment of the technical specification manager comes as the business undergoes its biggest expansion project since it was acquired in 2011.
