PermaGroup Marks 25 Years with Appointment of New CEO

BUILDING PRODUCTS distributor PermaGroup has appointed a new CEO as it celebrates 25 years in the flat roofing sector.

With 30 years’ experience across the building, plumbing and flooring industries, Kevin Williams has been appointed to replace founder and former managing director, Adrian Buttress.

Kevin previously worked as the managing director at Headlam Group. PermaGroup says he is poised to champion its next exciting phase of growth with a firm focus on teamwork, future-proofing and continued expansion.

“Taking PermaGroup into its next era is a fantastic opportunity,” said Kevin. “The company is already at the forefront of the industry, and I can’t wait to build on this momentum, driving new products, expanding our offerings and growing our customer base to new heights.”

Kevin fine-tuned his leadership skills throughout a career within the Travis Perkins group, where he commenced as a management trainee and worked his way up to hold various senior roles across the business.

“I’ve had the privilege of building amazing relationships throughout my career and I’m excited to bring that people-first mindset to PermaGroup,” Kevin added. “We’re going to continue innovating and delivering solutions that’ll make a real difference for our colleagues, customers and stockists.”

Departing Managing Director Adrian Buttress says he has “no qualms in passing the mantle”, expressing every confidence in his successor.

Adrian said, “It’s with immense pride that I hand over the reins to Kevin as I explore new ventures outside the industry. Our company has continued to embrace innovative technologies as we have continued to provide permanent solutions to age-old problems since the turn of this century.

Celebrating 25 Years in Flat Roofing

Originally founded as PermaRoof UK, specialising in flat roofing solutions, PermaGroup has evolved to become one of the UK’s largest licensed importers and distributors of a range of Elevate solutions, offering an extensive selection of products and services to commercial, stockist, trade and DIY customers countrywide.

The company’s head office in Derbyshire is also home to a training facility, where trade professionals can perfect their skills in Elevate RubberCover EPDM fitting and advanced liquid roofing applications.
