New Installer Member for MCRMA

DORSET-BASED roofing and cladding specialist Tek Clad Ltd has joined the ranks of the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA), becoming one of only a handful of installer members in the UK.

The MCRMA is the UK industry association representing the metal building envelope sector. It brings together businesses working at all stages of the supply chain including manufacturers, suppliers, inspectors and system installers.

Ian Hambidge, Tek Clad Managing Director, said: “This is an exciting step for Tek Clad. Training, accreditation, and quality workmanship have long been at the heart of what we do, and MCRMA membership will enable us to keep ahead of regulatory and technical developments and further enhance what we deliver for our clients.

The MCRMA provides practical guidance, technical advice, and safety information to members, and also lobbies at an industry and legislative level. By becoming an installer member, Tek Clad Ltd is now able to contribute to – and benefit from – this collective pool of expertise.

The announcement of MCRMA membership follows Tek Clad’s recent £340k investment in lifting equipment and marks a milestone in its 15^th year of business.
