The acquisition, valued at approximately €75 million ($81.8 million) based on Kalzip’s 2024 net sales, is expected to complete before the end of 2026.

By joining Tremco CPG, Kalzip will strengthen its international presence, the company says. The acquisition will benefit from Tremco’s broader network of complementary technologies “within a group that shares our commitment to innovation, sustainability and high performance building envelopes”, a Tremco spokesperson adds.

Kalzip has been manufacturing roofs and façades since 1968, delivering lightweight, visually distinctive aluminium building envelope solutions from its headquarters in Koblenz, Germany.

With more than 120 million m2 of aluminium systems supplied worldwide, Kalzip has delivered many landmark projects.

Distinctive projects include the roofs of Barajas International Airport in Madrid, the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Children’s Hospital Dublin and LAX Metro Station in Los Angeles.

Tremco CPG’s culture of innovation and long term investment aligns perfectly with Kalzip’s values, and together we will be able to deliver even greater value to architects, specifiers and installers across international markets.”

Tremco CPG’s integrated offering, encompasses roofing restoration and maintenance systems, EIFS solutions, metal and aluminium composite panels, sealants and waterproofing technologies, flooring systems, passive fire protection and structural solutions. Tremco says they provide a strong strategic fit with Kalzip’s product portfolio, adding “the combined strengths of both organisations will enable the delivery of fully integrated, high performance building envelope solutions for new construction and refurbishment projects worldwide.”
