New Flex-R Specification Manager Eyes Flagship Projects

FLEX-R has appointed Simon Blackham to Regional Specification Manager.

Simon has 15 years of experience to bring to the role, most of which was rising through the ranks to become a Specification Manager in the industry.

Simon is excited about joining Flex-R and believes that there’s an opportunity to increase the amount of projects where its range of specialist products, such as RubberBond, Sure-Weld, Enduris and LQD-R, are specified.

“I’ve joined a very ambitious company at a very exciting time, and there are lots of opportunities to get our products specified on some fantastic developments,” said Simon.

“I know from experience that some of the high-profile projects currently under construction in my region would benefit from products such as RubberBond.”

New Flex-R Specification Manager

National Sales Manager, Danny Cole, welcomed Simon’s appointment: “We are lucky to have recruited Simon because of the experience and knowledge that he brings to the new role at Flex-R.

“The creation of a series of Regional Specification Manager roles across the country will fulfil two key objectives for the business: supporting the company’s tier-one roofing contractors and building links with specifiers and architects.”

Simon’s appointment comes after the High Wycombe-based company opened a second UK depot in Huddersfield in April.
