MCRMA Membership Expands with Trio of Roofing and Cladding Contractors

THE INDUSTRY association representing the metal cladding and roofing supply chain, the MCRMA, has welcomed three well-established roofing and cladding contractors as its latest members.

GeoRoof, MAC Roofing & Contracting, and Total Roofing Solutions (TRS) have all been confirmed as MCRMA members within its ‘System Installers’ category, strengthening the representation of organisations working at this important stage of the building envelope supply chain. All three businesses bring their own unique perspectives on the industry and, as members, they will be able to play a more active role in shaping the future of the sector.

Trio of Roofing and Cladding Contractors

Established in 2003, TRS has evolved to become a leading specialist roofing refurbishment contractor providing repair, upgrading and renewal services for clients in the commercial, industrial, retail and educational sectors. A key focus for TRS is ensuring its experienced team employs best practice in installation, health and safety, quality and customer service.

MAC Roofing & Contracting is a family business which is celebrating its 50^th anniversary in 2025. Working with clients in a diverse range of sectors from healthcare and education to residential and heritage, the company has grown to become a major installer of roofing and cladding systems, employing a team of over 330 people and operating from four offices across the UK.

GeoRoof is a younger business, formed in 2018, with a very different ‘remote operating’ model which utilises a UK-wide pool of industry talent. The company has grown to specialise in the industrial and logistics market, with a 20+ strong team including a dedicated onsite project manager for each project to optimise service and client satisfaction.

“Although the MCRMA’s original mission in the early 1990s was to represent businesses involved in the manufacture of metal cladding and roofing systems, today’s association is very much open to all, as it has been for many years.

“Encompassing businesses right along the supply chain, from design, testing and manufacture to distribution, installation and maintenance, ensures our membership benefits from multiple perspectives. This is crucially important for our sector to develop collaboratively and enables the MCRMA to build a wealth of technical guidance, training and best practice, available to everyone, which can contribute to the delivery of higher quality, safer and better performing metal building envelopes.”
