HD Sharman Snaps Up Adhesives and Coatings Manufacturer

GUTTER AND ROOFING refurbishment systems provider HD Sharman has agreed a deal to acquire a Manchester-based  adhesive and coating manufacturer.

ITAC is a manufacturer of bespoke adhesive and coating products based at Radcliffe, North Manchester.

ITAC’s products are used for a continually evolving range of applications and industries, including roofing and construction, the food industry, medical industry, and the textile market to name a few.

In 2018, Sharmans, in partnership with ITAC, became the exclusive distributor of metal roof protection products Delcote and Seamsil.

According to HD Sharman,this relationship has gone from strength to strength and has supported Sharman’s growth in sales by more than 25% in 2019.

A natural progression

Mark de Rozarieux, Managing Director of Sharmans, said, “We are delighted to be the new home of the Delcote and Seamsil products and look forward to supporting both brands so they continue to provide market-leading performance, meeting the needs of UK commercial properties through strong contractor, building owner and specifier relationships.

Sharmans believes that the ITAC acquisition provides a natural progression for it to broaden its performance systems offer across the commercial roof environment.
