LRWA Membership Danny Cole, Flex-R Trading Director The decision by Flex-R to become a member of the LRWA was seen as a natural progression by Trading Director Danny Cole. Announcing the membership, Danny said, “The LRWA has always been an association we’ve been interested in. We’ve worked hard to compile the right support and offer across our ranges in recent years, so we feel now is the perfect time to join. I hope our partnership will ensure the very best service and support for our customers.” Ben Midwinter, Flex-R Technical Director Technical Director Ben Midwinter echoed Danny’s sentiment, adding that customers would quickly realise the benefits of increased collaboration within the industry. Ben said, “Being a member of the LRWA keeps us informed of the latest technology updates and changes plus allows us to have a voice in industry discussions. The LRWA also provides an opportunity to have positive input into government legislation, which in turn benefits our customers through the knowledge and support we gain from the association.” Flex-R Liquid Waterproofing The membership comes in tandem with the launch of the new LQD-PUR Liquid Waterproofing system from Flex-R. The new single-component system can be applied straight out of the can and is BBA approved for 20- and 25-year projects. The rapid curing components and cross-linking technology give installers a fast and easy to install system which is compatible with multiple substrates. This low VOC, reinforced system can be applied to both refurbishment and new build projects having been tested across multiple roof build-ups to achieve BROOF(t4) Fire Certification. As with all Flex-R waterproofing systems, installers must first attend the relevant training to ensure competency in application. With the LRWA membership, Flex-R says it has increased the support on offer for its merchant and contractor customer base, as well as adding to the collective voice the association wields. >> Read more about Flex-R in the news Previous article British Safety Council Certificates Not Accepted for Labourer Cards, Warns CSCSNext article Forterra Makes Material Contribution to Net Zero Future Share article You may also like View all News Flat Roofing +4 5 March 2026 Financial Controller at TaperedPlus Returns Featured Solutions +5 26 February 2026 Precision Liquid Waterproofing Delivers Heritage Roof Refurbishment Flat Roofing +5 4 February 2026 Twenty Roofing Firms Appointed to £80m Scottish Roofing Framework Flat Roofing +4 3 February 2026 Flex-R Joins Builders Merchants Federation Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
