Read the latest magazine People Chris White Appointed Managing Director of Avonside Plumbing Services 11 March 2021 AVONSIDE GROUP has become Britain’s largest service provider to the housebuilding industry in recent years with Roofing, Energy and Renewables divisions. Contributing to the Group’s complete service status is the relatively recent addition of a Plumbing Services division. The man responsible for taking Avonside Plumbing Services to the next level, is Chris White, who has recently been named as Managing Director – Plumbing Division. Avonside Plumbing Division During his tenure at Avonside Plumbing Services to date, Chris has overseen the rebranding of newly acquired plumbing branches to the Avonside Group, including Cambridgeshire-based M. Rogerson Ltd. He has managed a new branch opening at Burton in January of this year and hired new staff. This includes Andrew Kirkland, Production Manager at Avonside Plumbing Services Burton. Chris has achieved this all whilst ensuring his team continue to perform to the highest standards. In fact, in 2020, Avonside Plumbing Services Worcester branch were members of the site team that provided invaluable support to NHBC Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence and Medium Builder Regional Award-winning Site Manager, Aurie Cox, who also managed the Victoria Park development in Stoke-on-Trent for St. Modwen Homes. Speaking about his recent appointment and work heading up Avonside Plumbing Services, Chris said: “I am delighted to have been named Managing Director of the Plumbing Division and thank Eddie for the opportunity it has presented to me. “A key objective for us now is to now focus on delivering consistent quality throughout the division. We have introduced a quality manual along with four stage certificates to help drive this. We are fully digitised and using our site-tracker App to help us capture every stage of our installation with photographs and notes of progress. “One of the challenges that presents us, and most trades, is lack of quality labour.
