York Council Invites Tenders on Up to £6m Roofing Refurbs

York City Council has published a tender invitation for roofing work valued at up to £6 million.

The contract is to deliver a programme of planned roof tiling works to council houses within the city.

Lot one will run from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030 with a possible extension of the contract to 5 years ending on 31 March 2032.

The work involves planned maintenance as well as re-roofs in the city region.

Tenders are invited in an open procedure and will close on 1 September 2026.
