The HCR Group Appoints New CFO

Commercial roofing platform, The HCR Group has appointed Chad Bystedt as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Launched last month, The HCR Group was created to bring together regional companies across the Western United States while preserving the local leadership, culture, and customer relationships that define each business. The platform was designed to support local teams through shared resources that strengthen safety, consistency, and collaboration.

The company says Chad’s appointment will strengthen its executive leadership team as it continues to scale its operations and advance its long-term growth.

Chad Bystedt brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting leadership experience, most recently serving as CFO of Cirks Construction (dba KDC Construction), where he led financial strategy for a multi-market construction business for more than a decade.

His background includes experience across construction, SaaS, and manufacturing, as well as early career experience at Deloitte supporting organizations in the U.S. and internationally. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Melbourne.

“Chad’s experience and leadership are a strong fit for The HCR Group,” said Mike Erekson, Chief Executive Officer of The HCR Group. “His ability to build scalable financial infrastructure and support thoughtful expansion will be critical as we continue to grow.”

Raising Standards

The HCR Group is comprised of commercial roofing companies including Highland Commercial Roofing, Skycraft Roofing, Fidelity Roof Company, and Northwest Roofing, each of which continues to operate locally with support from the broader platform.
