Roofing Supplier Extends Network with NBG

Berkshire-based Anderson Roofing Supplies Ltd has joined the National Buying Group.

Anderson Roofing Supplies has operated since 2003, supplying roofing materials and products from its main branch located in Wokingham adding a second branch in Camberley in 2019. Growth has come from building an excellent reputation for its customer-centric service.

Gavin Smith, Sales Director at Anderson Roofing Supplies says the partnership with the National Buying Group is already benefiting the company.

“Since joining, we’ve been able to buy directly from suppliers we couldn’t reach before, and that’s given us better pricing. It’s early days and NBG has already helped in areas like UPVC plastics, and that means we can offer our customers more competitive quotes,” Gavin Smith said.

“Being part of NBG gives us a wider support network whilst being able to remain independent and retain our own identity. We now have access to Suppliers we couldn’t reach before, which will be invaluable in enabling the business to grow. It’s early days but we can already see the benefits of being with NBG and we know we made the correct decision in joining,” Gavin added.

Introduced to NBG by Keith Page, MD at Brian Gow Roofing Supplies, which joined NBG in 2025, Anderson Roofing says it has received excellent support since its successful application.

Gavin Smith said, “Our staff have had training on the NBG Hub both online and in-person, and [NBG’s Category Buyer for Roofing & Insulation] Mark Smith visited to run through rebate processes and how benefits are tracked.”

In addition to training, Gavin emphasised the peer support he’s received: “Everyone has been so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The practical advice we’ve had from other independents is testimony to the NBG’s strength and has made the early weeks of our partnership go smoothly.”
