ROOFING CONTRACTORS can now register for the Single Ply Roofing Association’s (SPRA) Specialist Applied-Skills Programme (SAP) training course.
Starting in September 2024, the SAP consists of five one-week training sessions hosted by Sika Limited at their premises in Watchmead, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1BQ.
The course dates are:

| Training Week 2 | 27-31 January 2025 |
| Training Week 3 | 24-28 March 2025 |
| Training Week 4 | 19-23 May 2025 |
| Training Week 5 | 28 July – 01 August 2025 |
Single Ply Roofing SAP
The SAP will instruct trainees in the preparation and installation of single ply roofing systems and how to work efficiently and safely on site.
Trainees will be awarded a Level 2 NVQ/SVQ Diploma in Single Ply Membrane Roofing upon successfully completing the course.
CITB registered companies can get substantial funding towards the course including travel and accommodation.
The deadline for registration is Friday 13 September 2024.
