New Flat Roof Glass Window Completes the Velux Range

VELUX is expanding its flat roof range with a visually appealing solution in the mid-price segment.

From September, the roof window manufacturer will offer the base element of its already established flat roof window generation – but with a high-quality glass top element in a robust aluminium design.

This makes it possible to achieve high-quality design for roof lights in flat roofs, even outside the premium segment.

It is available in both fixed and openable versions, with the latter standing out in the market thanks to its standard rain sensor and motor integrated into the frame.

VELUX Standard Glass Rooflight

The new product, launched under the name VELUX Standard Glass Rooflight, is fitted with a flat glass pane as the top element. This makes it ideal for use in roofs with a pitch of 2°–15°.

The rooflight is based on the existing double-glazed window generation and is available in eight sizes ranging from 60×60 cm to 120×120 cm.

Excellent Thermal Insulation

Thanks to the double glazing, the unit achieves an excellent thermal insulation value of 0.80 W/(m²K).

When purchasing a VELUX solar/electric flat roof window, the VELUX App Control accessory, which enables control via smartphone and thus also via voice command, is included free of charge. The VELUX App Control accessory needs to be ordered separately but is free of charge when ordered
