New Eastern Region Chair for Trussed Rafter Association

CHRIS POWELL, Sector Director – Residential at Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions, has been named Eastern Region Chair of the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA).

With more than 20 years’ experience in timber engineering and off-site construction, Chris brings commercial, technical and leadership expertise to the TRA.

His career includes senior roles in sales and design, where he built a track record in driving growth, improving margins and leading high-performing teams across multiple UK locations. Chris has also played a central role in advancing modern methods of construction and encouraging collaboration in housing delivery.

An advocate for off-site innovation, Chris is committed to raising standards of quality, compliance and sustainability across the industry. His appointment as Eastern Regional Chair reflects both his knowledge of the market and his dedication to supporting members in shaping the future of engineered timber solutions, says the TRA.
