MEWP Rentals Firm Acquired

SPECIALIST rental providers of powered access lifting equipment for working at height has been acquired by Centurion Group.

Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) providers Aerial Platforms Limited (APL), based in Leigh, Newcastle and Carlisle, is an owner managed business.

The acquisition will support Centurion’s growth, and adds to the six acquisitions the company has completed this year.

Centurion says that APL is a well-recognized brand with a strong market reputation. As part of Centurion, the business will benefit from the group’s financial scale and backing to invest in new rental assets, infrastructure and capabilities – helping APL to expand.

MEWP Rentals Acquisition

Centurion Group has grown organically since its inception in 2017 increasing revenues from circa $200m to circa $500m revenue by 2024.

Altogether, the company has completed 21 acquisitions since 2017 and has an active pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
