The Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) has revealed the shortlisted finalists for its 2026 Awards and Gala Dinner.

A total of 24 projects have been selected across five categories following anonymous reviews by an independent judging panel. All project category submissions were assessed against strict criteria, including complexity, workmanship, problem-solving, and aesthetics.

Three people have also been shortlisted for the Trainer of the Year award. For the first time, the LRWA invited members to nominate individuals for this category, recognising those making a tangible difference to developing skills within the sector.

More than 400 guests will gather at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool’s Stanley Dock to celebrate the awards on Wednesday, 25 March 2026. As well as a winner of each project category, there will be a highly commended award.

The event will also crown the Student of the Year and a Specialist Contribution Award, celebrating the talents of those working in liquid roofing and waterproofing.

Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA, said: “We’re really excited to be hosting our eighth event and showcasing more incredible projects and people. Every year, the awards get bigger and better, demonstrating the versatility of liquid-applied waterproofing membranes and the impressive skills of contractors.

“The event also marks our second Sustainability Project of the Year award, with a notable rise in entries highlighting how our members are addressing environmental challenges and creating social impact.

“We look forward to March and shining the spotlight on the quality, skill and dedication that drive our industry’s success.”
