Growing from strength to strength, the event has become an important fixture in the industry calendar. It brings together contractors, manufacturers, consultants for a day of technical insight, knowledge-sharing and networking. With a seminar programme reflecting the key developments shaping the industry, it included a range of technical, regulatory and practical topics relevant to specialist roofing contractors. Seminar Programme Holmes & Hills Solicitors held an interactive mock adjudication, exploring common contractual and payment disputes, while Cube Construction Consultants tackled misconceptions surrounding the Building Safety Act 2022. The Health & Safety People showed how effective planning and leadership can make safe working practices easier to implement. Edward Lewis of Donald Insall Associates and Kelly O’Driscoll of Blenheim Palace spoke about conserving the historic palace through its extensive roof and restoration project. Specialist workshops were also on offer, on CITB training and funding and cellular glass insulation presented by FOAMGLAS.
