Gracing the Sheffield skyline for nearly 100 years, the historic structure has undergone significant restoration to address severe weathering and leakage issues due to several previous repairs. Before undertaking the refurbishment, Stoic Roofing ensured compliance with heritage building regulations in order to make sure the clock tower’s historic design and construction methods were preserved. The team stripped away the old, damaged lead before applying a code 6 lead system. Stoic says the newly covered clock tower will “enhance the longevity of the structure and significantly improve the tower’s waterproofing capabilities”.
