The Lighthouse Club provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and its families. The organisation offers information, advice and guidance on wellbeing issues through services such as its 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, supporting app and HARDHAT text service. Since announcing the partnership in March 2021, Geocel has held a series of fundraising activities to promote the Lighthouse Club, including golf days with customers in the UK and Ireland. These events, generous donations from Geocel customers, and an additional corporate contribution helped raise £13,390 for the charity. As part of Geocel’s continued support, the Lighthouse Club’s helpline has also been promoted on the company’s Mate range cartridges, relaunched last year with a brand-new design, to raise awareness of the charity’s services. Bill Hill, CEO of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity said, “We are absolutely amazed by the support we have received from Geocel so far and are delighted to have partnered with them again this year. The fundraising has been fantastic, already joining our prestigious Wall of Fame for smashing their £10,000 target. “As well as vital fundraising, they are helping to promote our charitable services through their Mate range. This means that we can reach trades that urgently need our support and ensure that no construction worker is alone in a crisis. Laura Hettenbach, Senior Trade Brands Campaign Manager, commented, “We are immensely proud of Geocel’s contribution to the Lighthouse Club. The organisation provides incredible support and life-saving guidance to those in our industry who really need it. We are delighted to have renewed our partnership with the Lighthouse Club in 2022 so that we can continue to fundraise throughout the year.” For more information on the charity and its services, visit the Lighthouse Club website. >> Read more about Geocel in the news Previous article Fuel Crisis Makes Work Less Cost Effective for Van DriversNext article NHBC Foundation on Future Homes – Avoiding Unintended Consequences Share article You may also like View all News Charity News +1 13 July 2026 Lighthouse Charity Digs Deep to Respond to Demand for Support in 2025 Charity News +2 10 July 2026 Workwear Brand Names Band of Builders as Charity Partner Charity News +1 26 June 2026 Construction Charity Tops £2m Project Delivery Milestone Charity News +2 24 June 2026 ‘Tour De Roof’ Cycling Team Smash Fundraising Target Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 125 July-August 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
