Fixings and Fastenings Supplier Acquired

THE ACQUISITION of UK-based supplier of screws and fixings Aptus Fastener Systems Ltd, was completed by G&B Fissaggi Group on 6 May 2025.

Since entering the UK in 2012, the Italian headquartered manufacturer, G&B Fissaggi has grown its presence in the construction fixings market.

Aptus Fasteners will now operate as a subsidiary of G&B Fissaggi.

G&B brings four decades of experience in high-performance fixing systems, including nylon, steel, and chemical anchors, sealants, foams, power tool accessories, and specialist solutions for construction, electrical, and thermo-hydraulic sectors.

As a specialist in timber construction fixings, the company says the acquisition of Aptus will enhance G&B’s ability to provide more targeted, technically advanced solutions to a growing segment of the building industry and support a wider range of projects.

Aptus UK customers will continue to work with the same Aptus teams and leadership and operations will remain in place. Operations will be integrated across the two businesses by 4th August 2025.

G&B Fissaggi’s says it has a long-term commitment to the UK market and aims to become the preferred partner for fastening systems across all sectors of construction and industry.
