Eurocell Buys Alunet for £29m

EUROCELL PLC has completed the £29 million acquisition of Alunet.

Eurocell completed the acquisition of Alunet on a debt and cash free basis, with an initial payment of £22 million.

A further approximately £7 million will be payable in four annual instalments beginning in 2026. In addition, there is the potential for performance related payments of up to £6m over the same period based on Alunet’s EBITDA achieved in 2025.

Eurocell, as a UK manufacturer, distributor and recycler of PVC roofline, windows, and doors says the acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its position in residential aluminium systems and composite doors, and adds garage doors to their product portfolio.

Alunet focuses on fast growing home improvement brands and comprises four businesses. Alunet Systems manufactures aluminium windows and doors focused on the residential sector, sold under the Aluna brand. Comp Door manufactures solid core timber doors; JDUK supplies sectional aluminium garage doors and components and UK Doors (Midlands) makes aluminium roller shutter garage doors.

£43m turnover Alunet will continue to be led by Chief Executive Steve Hudson, joining Eurocell’s Executive Committee. Alunet employs approximately 200 people.
