Encon Expands Operations with New East Anglia Branch

The Encon Group is expanding its operations with a new branch in East Anglia.

The development represents the merger of Encon Newmarket with Encon & Nevill Long Thetford to form a total solutions branch.

The Thetford branch opened its doors in 2021, with a site in excess of 80,000ft², and transport links for deliveries across Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. The distributor says it is also ideally placed to deliver to Sizewell C and holds ISO 19443 accreditation, a dedicated quality management system standard for organisations operating in the nuclear industry supply chain.

New Branch

The branch will house the existing teams from both branches, with Newmarket’s existing Branch Director Jon Pease taking on the role of site director.

“Crucially, the existing team at Newmarket joins our established Thetford team, ensuring our business maintains its outstanding knowledge, experience and strong manufacturer relationships.”
