Read the latest magazine Apprenticeships Industry News Video Dalton Roofing’s All Star Apprentices 8 February 2022 For National Apprenticeship Week 2022 we asked managing director of Dalton Roofing, Philip Dalton to talk to his roofing apprentices about how they got started in roofing. National Apprenticeship Week 2022 Phil is a firm believer is training up the next generation of roofers and at present employs six apprentices. Phil chatted to his apprentices about how they came into roofing, attending Leeds College of Building where they study for their roofing qualifications, and their ambitions. Dalton Roofing Apprentices In the video (from the left) Phil talks to Jake Barnsley, Wesley Brown, Bradley Edge and Lewis Naylor, all of whom started with Dalton Roofing in 2020. All the Dalton Roofing apprentices are studying for their Roof Slating and Tiling Level 2 Standard qualification and NVQ, in their first year at Leeds College of Building. Dalton’s two other apprentices, William Thompson and Daniel Dalton are in their second year of study and will qualify later this year. Dalton Roofing based in Sheffield is a family firm established in 1990, covering the Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Peak District areas.
