Yorkshire Collaboration Provides E-Learning Opportunities

THE YORKSHIRE Independent Roof Training Group is working with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors Yorkshire and North East Counties Region to offer fully funded
on-line courses to support essential learning.   Funding is provided equally by both parties to support member companies.

Courses are chosen to support individuals who have been furloughed, or those who do not wish to take further time away from work to train.  These courses include the six key learning outputs required by the RoofCERT Programme.

“During these difficult and testing times Yorkshire Independent Roof Training Group is looking to diversify its role as a training group by providing online training for all members to ensure that skills and knowledge are continually developed even with the current challenges of limited classroom training.

In the first 2 weeks of this offer going live, 6 companies have commissioned courses, recruiting 45 learners who will undertake 76 courses and 28 have already completed.
