Read the latest magazine Awards and Events Industry News Winners of the LRWA Charity Challenge 2025 Revealed 29 July 2025 THE LRWA 2025 Charity Challenge has raised more than £8k for a youth homelessness charity. First launched by the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association six years ago, the virtual challenge is a nationwide event which encourages teams to run, walk, swim or cycle the furthest distances to raise money for LandAid. This year, the LRWA Charity Challenge saw 195 participants take part across 22 teams that walked, ran, swam and cycled to clock up the kilometres in 30-minute bursts throughout July. From fundraising to creative selfies and scenic routes, every kilometre is counted as the LRWA event continues to grow in participation from across the roofing industry. The event is free to enter and open to all fitness levels, encouraging team spirit and healthy competition. LRWA Charity Challenge 2025 The winners of the 2025 challenge are: Gold (first place): StructureCare Samurais Silver (second place): Sika Wolfpack Bronze (third place): Everlasting Endurance Top individual winners for the most kilometres (km) achieved in 30 minutes include: Best Swimmer: Bryden Thomson – StructureCare Samurais Best Walker: Dave Youngs – Everlasting Endurance Best Runner: Ross Harle – StructureCare Samurais Best Cyclist (Indoor): Luke Rootham – Axter Allstars Best Cyclist (Outdoor): Jonathan Shum – Sika Wolfpack ‘Most original photo’ winner: Scott Deighton & Honorary Team Member, Everlasting Endurance – Albania (won from an online vote) A total of £8,223 was raised for LandAid, and the team that raised the most money was Everlasting Endurance. Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA, said: “Each year this challenge gets bigger and better, and we’re so proud to support such a wonderful charity like LandAid. It’s heartbreaking that so many young people are homeless in the UK, especially in 2025. This is our way of giving back, helping to put a roof over their heads and offer them hope, purpose, and a future. The dedication and creativity shown by all our teams was phenomenal this year and we thank everyone who got involved and donated.
