Warrington Roofing Firm Enters Insolvency

A Warrington-based roofing and scaffolding company which had been operating for over 20 years has entered insolvency.

Youngs Roofing and Scaffolding Contractors Ltd appointed joint liquidators Stuart Kelly and Claire Harsley of Mackay Goodwin Ltd on 12 August 2026.

Youngs provided services including slating, tiling, lead work, flat roofing, and scaffolding in Warrington, Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon, Sale, and across Cheshire and the North West.

The company had worked on both domestic and commercial projects for a range of clients including Barratt Homes, Short Construction, Urban Projects, Ackerley Developments, and Duchy Homes.

The firm also completed contracts with local builders, government-backed and social housing schemes, as well as National Trust projects.

Creditors have until 9 October 2026 to prove their debts by sending full details of their claims to the joint liquidators at Mackay Goodwin Limited, 7 Smithford Walk, Prescot, L35 1SF.
