VELUX Commercial UK&I Supports Rock n Raise North East Event

VELUX COMMERCIAL UK&I is supporting the upcoming Rock n Raise Country night, heading to Wylam Brewery in Newcastle on Tuesday 30 September 2025.

Organised by Sir Graham Wylie Foundation, now in its seventh edition, the fundraiser champions youth empowerment and raises funds for local causes including Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff & Robbins music therapy.

Rock n Raise North East

The annual Rock n Raise concerts are renowned for bringing stars such as Sting, Andy Taylor and the Kaiser Chiefs to Tyneside.

One hundred per cent of all money raised at the event will be donated to the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation, Nordoff & Robbins and Teenage Cancer Trust, which has units at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital. The impact of the event is ‘deeply personal’ for VELUX, whose team shares roots and relationships in the North East and beyond.

This year’s concert features headline host legendary ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris of Old Grey Whistle Test fame and Radio BBC2 broadcaster with standout live performances from Kezia Gill, Chanel Yates, and more top UK talent, bringing together the very best of local and national music.

The evening promises authentic moments, inspiring stories from beneficiaries of the charity and real opportunities to Help, Educate and Inspire the next generation.
