TopBuild Expands Commercial Roofing Services with Latest Acquisition<\/h1>\n 25 February 2026<\/span>\n <\/div>\n

TopBuild Corp, the installer and distributor of insulation and commercial roofing products, has entered an agreement to acquire Texas-based Johnson Roofing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 1941, Johnson Roofing<\/a> is a third-generation roofing company serving commercial roofing projects in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. It generates approximately $29 million in annual revenue.<\/p>\n

Robert Buck, President and CEO of TopBuild, commented: <\/strong>\u201cWe are pleased to welcome the Johnson Roofing team to the TopBuild family as we build our commercial roofing services platform and continue our focus on compounding returns and driving greater shareholder value.\u201d<\/p>\n

Expanded Offerings<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Johnson Roofing joins the TopBuild<\/a> family of businesses which includes Arizona-headquartered roofing contractor Progressive Roofing<\/a> which it acquired last year.<\/p>\n

Nick Hadden, Leader of Progressive Roofing, said: <\/strong>\u201cThe Johnson Roofing acquisition expands our offerings in Central Texas, allows us to capitalize on a very large, highly fragmented commercial roofing market and enables us to better serve our general contractor customers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sherri Johnson, Leader of Johnson Roofing, added: <\/strong>\u201cWe are delighted to be joining the TopBuild commercial roofing team, as our fundamental culture of safety, driven by the pursuit of excellence, is very much aligned with the company.<\/p>\n

Headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, TopBuild Corp provides insulation and commercial roofing installation services nationwide. The company also distributes insulation and related building products through its 250 branches across the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n
