Compete to be the ‘Best of the Best’ with Cupa Pizarras

CUPA PIZARRAS is calling for entries to its annual ‘Best of the Best’ natural slate roofing competition, which closes on November 30 2025.

Now in its fifth year, the competition is designed to showcase talent in the roofing industry, whilst also finding the best installations of CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate. The lucky winner will win an exclusive trip to the CUPA PIZARRAS quarries and an unforgettable experience in Madrid, including attending a football match at the Santiago Bernabéu.

With over 250 roofs installed around the world everyday using CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate, and with a wide range of designs and installation skills playing a fundamental role in the success of these projects, CUPA PIZARRAS aims to highlight the very best in what can be achieved. As such, the company is asking for you to submit a video of your best CUPA PIZARRAS slate project, open to roofing contractors from around the world.

Compete to be the ‘Best of the Best’

To take part in the competition you must submit a 45 second to two-minute long video showcasing your work with CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate on any type of project. Entrants are welcome to use their imagination and creativity, and feature either a completed project or one still in progress.

This year’s edition is packed with prizes. As a thank you, all participants will receive a small goodie bag that will make your life easier when installing natural slate roofs. Plus, each group winner will receive an exclusive commemorative hammer created specially for the Best of the Best.

The deadline for submissions is November 30 2025, and the first phase of voting will take place from 2 to 4 December 2025.

All videos will be collated by country, and keen readers of the CUPA PIZARRAS blog will vote for the national winners. Following this, a specialized international jury with judges from the UK, France, Spain, Belgium and the USA with a recognised track record in the field of natural slate, will select the overall winner.

The lucky winner will be crowned ‘Master of the Year’ on December 16 2025 and be whisked away to Spain for a once in a lifetime trip.
