However, shortlisted projects for the 2020 Awards will still undergo the scrutiny of the usual judging process, and winners for all categories will be announced to the NFRC membership, trade press and on social media in February 2021. Subject to restrictions, trophies will be presented personally or dispatched by courier. 2020 UK Roofing Awards Shortlisted projects will be shared on social media over the coming weeks prior to being judged, using the hashtags #RA2020 and #RoofingAwards2020. NFRC would like to thank the following sponsors of the 2020 Awards for being so understanding about the changes: Radmat Building Products SIG Roofing BMI Axter CUPA PIZARRAS QA National Warranties EJOT Cromar Building Products FAKRO Marley Sika Chandlers Roofing Supplies James Talman CEO NFRC Chief Executive of NFRC, James Talman, said: “It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to cancel the 2020 UK Roofing Awards live event. With lockdown restrictions on large public gatherings expected to last well into the first half of 2021, it looks very unlikely that the 2020 Awards would have been able to take place as planned in May. “However, we felt strongly that the judging of the Awards should still go ahead to provide much-deserved recognition for the extremely high-calibre projects that have been submitted. We hope to ensure that winners get as much exposure as possible and that they are also recognised at the 2021 Awards “I encourage everyone to keep an eye on the Roofing Awards social media channels over the coming weeks and see the incredible projects that are up for an award, as well as for the big announcement of the winners in February. Whilst we can’t celebrate in person, I am sure we can all make some virtual noise to celebrate these fantastic projects.” >> Read more about the UK Roofing Awards in the news Previous article UK Solar Industry Body Adopts New NameNext article Late Payment Reforms Slash Small Business Payments Time Share article You may also like View all News Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Awards and Events +3 19 March 2026 Six Weeks Left to Enter the 2026 SPRA Awards Awards and Events +2 17 March 2026 UK Roofing Awards 2026 Finalists Announced Awards and Events +3 16 March 2026 Rooflight Association Official Partner of UK Construction Week 2026 Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
