The Sky’s the Limit with New Whitesales Skyvu Lantern Launch

THE FIT SHOW saw the launch of a brand-new, competitively priced aluminium roof lantern from Whitesales – with all of the fitter-friendly features that have become synonymous with one of the industry’s leading rooflight brands.

The stylish new em.glaze skyvu lantern is available on short lead times of just three to five days for standard sizes and colours and is quick and easy to fit in around 40 minutes – easily delivering on Whitesales’ mission to help customers make more money from their lantern and rooflight installs.

With internal rafters of just 38mm and large expanses of self-cleaning glass, the new Whitesales lantern has the sleek minimal aesthetic which homeowners want to bring as much daylight as possible into their homes. It also comes in both contemporary and traditional styles with multiple pane options in sizes up to 4.5m long – to maximise its sales appeal and ensure that retail buyers can achieve as much ‘wow factor’ as they want.

The new em.glaze skyvu easily complies with the new requirements of Part L, achieving U-Values of 1.3W/m²K thanks to the thermally broken hip beams and incorporates high integrity seals to ensure optimum weather performance tested to beyond BS6375.

For roofers, the lantern has some very clever design features, such as quick and easy click fastening of the glazing into the flange on the ring beam, which means it can typically be fitted by one person in around 40 minutes.
