TaperedPlus Appoints Business Development Manager for Midlands and South West

FLAT ROOFING and insulation specialist TaperedPlus has strengthened its new regional sales framework with the appointment of Ian Sumner as Business Development Manager for the Midlands and South West of England.

Well-known and highly respected within the roofing and waterproofing industry, Ian brings more than 20 years of sales and technical expertise to the role.

He has built his career with industry manufacturers and suppliers, most recently serving as Technical Sales Manager for the Midlands at Proteus Waterproofing. His earlier experience includes roles with Langley Waterproofing Systems, Sika Roofing, and SIG plc.

Speaking about his new role, Ian Sumner said: “TaperedPlus is a dynamic company with a great reputation for technical expertise and client-focused service. I’m excited to be part of its continued growth and look forward to working closely with contractors, architects and consultants across the Midlands and South West to deliver high-performing, sustainable roofing solutions.”

Ian’s appointment forms part of TaperedPlus’s ambitious growth strategy, which has seen the Stockton-on-Tees company expand its sales team following a £5.5 million investment from BGF last year.

Under the new structure, each business development manager is dedicated to a specific region to enable closer client relationships and enhanced service delivery.
