Read the latest magazine Industry News Strong Housing Growth in November as New Homes Top 15,000 19 December 2018 NEW HOME growth is continuing with more than 15,000 new homes registered to be built in November, according to the latest figures from NHBC. A total of 15,155 new homes were registered, a 2% increase on the 14,802 last year. Between September and November, 43,745 new homes were registered compared to 40,858 in 2017 – an increase of 7%. During this period there were 33,104 registered in the private sector and 10,641 in the affordable sector. Yorkshire & Humberside, Wales and the South West all experienced significant growth compared to the same period 12 months ago, with London down 16% and West Midlands down 11%. Overall, nine of the 12 UK regions saw an increase in new home registrations in the rolling quarter.
