Read the latest magazine Industry News Single Ply SPRA Autumn Series Begins 9 November 2021 THE SINGLE PLY ROOFING ASSOCIATION (SPRA) Autumn Series begins next week – a series of discussions aiming to keep SPRA members up to date with key industry issues. SPRA Autumn Series – Technical Panel Discussion Held on Monday 15 November at 2.30pm on the online Zoom platform, the first event will be a Technical Panel Discussion hosted by SPRA Technical Chair, Nigel Blacklock and including the Construction Product Association’s CEO – Peter Caplehorn and the BBA’s Technical Director, Professor Bill Hewlett. This is a follow up discussion to our June conference event and will last one hour maximum. Nigel will discuss with Peter and Bill, a number of items including CCPI, Lexicon (incl PDT), Certification (results of BBA survey) and Fire Safety (including on-going issues with AD B) and Building Safety. The SPRA Autumn Series is targeted to keep our members up to date on key industry developments as well other important issues affecting them in their day-to-day business. SPRA/LRWA Code of Construction Product Information (CCPI) Workshop The series continues on the 23 November with a joint SPRA/LRWA Workshop on the Code of Construction Product Information (CCPI) at 10.00am-11.00am. Lunch and Learn On 2 December 1-2pm there’s a lunch and learn series of presentations on sustainability from members of the SPRA Sustainability Group (SSG) on roofing sector issues that SPRA expects members will find interesting and informative. Building Mental Health The series rounds off in December with a Building Mental Health training opportunity enabling participants to support colleagues in our industry.
