Spaces Going Fast for SPV Sheeting, Cladding & Composite Panel Courses in January 2025

SPACES ARE going fast for the cladding courses at the SPV Training Centre in Walsall in January 2025.

The SPV Training Centre is next running roof sheeting & cladding training courses on 8^th and 22^nd January 2025 and there are a few spaces left.

The one-day introduction to sheeting and cladding course covers both theoretical and practical cladding training.

The 9am-4pm overview is ideal for those who may be office-based or new to the industry and want to develop their knowledge.

Grants are available for the cost of the course (£200) through the CITB. It can also be booked directly or through the employer network, as SPV Training is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) with 70% funding available.

The practical elements of the course were very much enjoyed by attendees with all gaining valuable knowledge and understanding of sheeting and cladding.

SPV has recently had design managers, QS’s, estimators, site managers and manufacturer design managers attending – so perfect for those who want to learn more but aren’t operative based.

Feedback to date has been excellent, with all attendees commenting how enjoyable and valuable the course was for their day-to-day roles.

One attendee commented: “The course was excellent to develop my understanding when ordering materials and will improve my ability to assess works on site.”

Another attendee said: “The course will greatly help with envisioning when designing contracts and understanding fully how these designs will work practically.”

Another trainee observed: “The practical elements of the course will greatly assist when pricing projects and tenders.”

There are currently a few spaces available on the 8^th and 22^nd January courses.
