The deals will see the housebuilders using the Viridian solar roofing system on all new homes where there is a requirement for solar PV panels. National housebuilder, Persimmon Homes, has renewed its existing national supply agreement. First signed in December 2017, the deal has been extended through to 2021. In the 15-month period since the original supply agreement was signed, projects comprising more than 4,000 homes across 85 development sites have come forward, requiring 6MWp of solar, or around 22,000 panels. McTaggart Group, a diversified construction company, has also chosen Clearline fusion from Viridian. The McTaggart Construction division builds around 500 new homes each year, with a focus on the affordable housing sector.
