Read the latest magazine Green Roofs Industry News Sustainability Sky Garden Ltd Acquired for £2.5m 8 August 2024 GENUIT GROUP PLC, the provider of sustainable water, climate and ventilation solutions for the built environment, has announced the £2.5m acquisition of blue green roof specialist, Sky Garden Limited. Sky Garden Limited provides design, supply, installation and maintenance services for green and bio-solar roofs, podium decks and green walls. Sky Garden Acquisition The business, based in Tewksbury, Gloucestershire, will join the Group’s Water Management Solutions (WMS) business unit. The acquisition will extend the Group’s blue green roof offering by providing an additional route to market for Genuit’s Permavoid business and synergising with the Keytec installation business. The Group says “this is an attractive market segment with significant future growth potential associated with the increasing need for urban re-greening and stormwater management”. The Sky Garden Limited acquisition was completed on 5 August 2024. On 6 August, Genuit also acquired underfloor heating specialists Omnie and Timoleon for £2.7m. The companies will join the Group’s Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit. The Group says it expects the businesses to deliver revenue in the region of £6-7m in the remaining five months of the year. Commenting on the acquisitions, Joe Vorih, Genuit Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are excited by these acquisitions, which present a compelling opportunity for Genuit and align with our Sustainable Solutions for Growth strategy.
