SIP Manufacturer Expands with Multimillion-Pound Acquisition

SIP Building Systems Ltd has acquired SIP Build UK (SBUK Group). The deal was completed for an undisclosed sum.

Liverpool-based SIP Building Systems (SBS) has been manufacturing composite panels for markets in several sectors, including residential, commercial and leisure, as well as military infrastructure, modular buildings and temperature-controlled environments, since 2004.

The deal will create a larger entity with a total of around 50,000 sq ft of manufacturing facilities, enhanced technical and design capability, enlarged production capacity and greater national reach.

Supply Chain Control

SBS’s acquisition of SIP Build UK (SBUK Group) will see it gain specialist brands SIP Build UK, Frame Build UK and Clad Build UK. The SBUK Group brands cater for the self-build, residential, education, and commercial markets. Based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, the group designs, manufactures and installs high-performance building envelopes.
