Chris Lodge, Managing Director of SIG Roofing Chris Lodge, Managing Director at SIG Roofing, said: “I’m really grateful the CILT partnered with us to work through this programme. It’s important for those who go through the training that they have something that’s independently verified and can then continue to use that certificate wherever their careers take them.” Ops Academy The Ops academy, which uses a digital course format, was initially run as a pilot for 30 members of staff and forms part of a larger training academy at SIG Roofing, supporting colleagues across numerous disciplines. The Ops Academy sits alongside our Sales and Leadership Academies as part of our ongoing commitment to developing our people and supporting colleagues across every discipline. SIG Roofing’s focus on staff training began in earnest two years ago when they launched a Sales Academy for the business. “We are very proud to be involved in endorsing the SIG Roofing Ops Academy” said Julia O’Hela, membership manager at CITL(UK). “A huge well done to both Andy and Colin for leading the way. Your hard work sets the standard for what’s to come as more of your colleagues progress through the programme. I’d also like to mention other SIG Roofing branch colleagues who have subsequently completed the training. Darren Prior (Middlesborough), Ryan Cook (Bolton), Simon Stanyard (Grimsby), Paul Evans (Kings Lynn), and Simon Williams (Slough), a truly great effort has been put in by all to hone your skills and help SIG Roofing offer an increasingly efficient service for their customers.” >>Read more about SIG Roofing in the news Previous article Roof Training Groups Face Closure After CITB Funding EndsNext article Swish Adds Shadow Gap to its NatureClad Range with Two New Profiles Share article You may also like View all News Industry News +2 20 March 2026 RA Issues Revised Safety Guidance on Rooflight Covers Awards and Events +3 20 March 2026 The Great British Slate Off Returns for 2026 Green Roofs +3 20 March 2026 Swansea Joins Global Network of Biophilic Cities Sign Up to Roofing Today Stay up to date with all of the latest news from Roofing Today by signing up to our weekly Bulletins… Sign Up Today Get in Touch Check out the latest issue 123 March-April 2026 View Now Past Issues Get in Touch
