SIG Repeats Support for Foodbank Campaign

SIG HAS DECIDED to repeat support for foodbanks again this festive season after receiving positive feedback and inspiring stories from last winter’s support of the Morrisons Supermarket Foodbank campaign.

In an impressive collective effort, 49 strategically placed branches nationwide from the SIG UK Roofing, SIG Interiors, and SIG Specialist Market divisions are participating. This is alongside two full shopping trolleys of items from the SIG head office team based in Sheffield.

Each branch will closely collaborate with their local Morrisons Community Champions by the end of November. They will advise on what their local food banks require for their specific needs, ensuring that SIG’s efforts will have the greatest impact.

Additionally, Morrisons has agreed to provide a generous 10% discount on all products purchased by SIG, allowing each pound donated to stretch even further.

Foodbank Campaign

The branch staff will soon be busy creating tailored shopping lists and visiting Morrisons Supermarkets. The SIG teams will fill their trolley with items that will be delivered by Morrisons to local food banks before the festivities begin.

“Everyone at SIG supported this great initiative last year and was eager to repeat it this December. We want to make a real difference for families in need during the festive season, which can be challenging. We hope this initiative will positively impact many families,” said Clare Hoskins, Marketing Manager at SIG Roofing and SIG Group CSR committee member.
