SIG Acquisition of Penlaw & Company Ltd

SIG HAS ANNOUNCED the acquisition of Penlaw & Company Ltd, suppliers of building materials to contractors, builders and developers.

First established in 1977, Penlaw & Company Ltd employs 130 staff and operates from five sites in the UK.

Under the ownership of SIG, Penlaw & Company Ltd will continue to trade under its existing brand supported by the full backing of SIG Distribution’s national supply network and product range.

News of the acquisition comes at a pivotal time for SIG Distribution as the business rolls out its plans to strengthen its offering to customers nationwide. The acquisition of Penlaw & Company Ltd quickens this rollout and increases its service offering.
