This support now extends to online learning to support customers, from CPDs through to installation support.

In guaranteeing leak prevention, it is important to specify the correct solution using certified products that are specifically made and designed for the gutter. A commercial gutter that leaks can cause massive business disruption, not to mention £000’s in property or asset damage. In consideration of this, it is critical that gutter performance and drainage calculations are considered.

Whether it starts with a condition report – so our customers understand what the state of the roof and gutter is, or solutions to prevent or fix leaking commercial gutters. The latest CPD: “Why gutters fail and the options to repair, replace and refurbish” is the company’s first CPD to be offered online. It looks specifically at commercial and industrial gutters and roof types, providing a better understanding of the primary reasons why they fail, along with the refurbishment options available.

Online Initiatives

This is the first part of a number of online initiatives that will be launched over 2021 by Sharmans to help and support their customers with key learning topics and technical support.

This sits alongside the new state-of-the-art training facilities that were opened last year in Chapel le frith, which trains contractors on real life rigs helping ensure the highest of quality of installation. It means that, from specification through to installation, specifiers and contractors alike know they are specifying and installing solutions that are specifically made and guaranteed for leak prevention.
