Screwfix delivered ‘standout’ sales in the six months ended 31 July 2026, according to the latest trading update from parent company Kingfisher.

In its half year results, Kingfisher’s sales grew by +1.6% to £7,107m, driven by continued momentum in strategic growth drivers.

‘Standout’ Sales

Screwfix was a top performer, with trade sales growing +6.1%. The business delivered strong market share gains across categories and expanded trade-specific ranges, including Hager and Milwaukee.

App sales also increased 18% year-on-year, supported by Screwfix Sprint delivery, representing over 42% of Screwfix’s total e-commerce sales.

Screwfix City stores continued to trade ahead of expectations with 39 stores now open across the UK, and its dedicated trade zones expanded operation to 49% of stores outside Screwfix, up from 39% in 2025.

Thierry Garnier, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We delivered a solid H1 performance, growing sales, gross margin and profits through market share gains and continued momentum across trade, e-commerce, marketplace and group sourcing. We are building a stronger, more resilient Kingfisher, with our strategic priorities creating new growth opportunities and strong financial discipline supporting performance across the business.

“While the consumer environment remains mixed, our consistent delivery, strategic progress and opportunities ahead give us the confidence to upgrade our guidance.”
