RUSSELL ROOF Tiles’ Ryder Cup-style charity golf tournament is back in full swing for 2022.

The tournament will be held on Thursday 8 September at Horsley Lodge Golf Club in Derbyshire to raise money for RRT’s Give 4 Good initiative. The campaign aims to raise £50,000 this year for charities and good causes close to its two Burton and Lochmaben (Scotland) sites.

All tournament entrants will be pitched against each other, with RRT England vs RRT Rest of The World who will be battling it out for the RRT Ryder Cup Trophy.

Give 4 Good Initiative

The pitched roof tile manufacturer is hoping to raise £5,500 from this event alone towards the Give 4 Good initiative, part of the firm’s celebration of 10 years of independence which was set up at the beginning of this year and will support an array of local charities.

Ross Hayward, Area Sales Manager at Russell Roof Tiles has been organising the tournament since its inception in 2016. He said, “This year, we’re really stretching ourselves to raise as much money as possible for our nominated charities and causes. The success of the golf day in previous years, is the reason why we’ve organised it again. Not only because it’s great to get everyone together, but most importantly, to raise a huge amount of money towards our Give 4 Good initiative that will support our communities.”

Last year, the charity golf tournament raised £5,000 for Shropshire, Staffordshire & Cheshire Blood Bikes.
