Roofer of the Year 2024 Finalists Revealed

THE FINALISTS for Roofer of the Year at this year’s On The Tools Awards have been announced.

The awards showcase some of the best talent in the UK construction industry. This year’s finalists highlight the skills, innovation, and dedication driving the construction sector.

The Roofer of the Year finalists are:

• Danny Madden, Madden Builders, Manchester
• Dennis Richardson, Maidstone Roofer, Kent
• Joe Ward, Thermolite, London
• Josh Carter, Buckstone Roofing Edinburgh, Edinburgh
• Robert McConnell, EVi Renewables, Dunfermline

Previous Roofer of the Year winners include Kristian Ingham from Leadwork South West in 2022 and Geoff Smith, known as the Roofing Outlaw on social media, in 2023.

The finalists for the On The Tools Awards 2024, sponsored by Jewson, were revealed on Wednesday 11 September. From apprentices just starting in their careers to skilled tradespeople who have spent decades perfecting their craft, this year’s awards recognise those pushing boundaries and raising standards in every trade.
