Read the latest magazine Industry News Roof Tiles Roof Tile Manufacturer Secures Eight-Figure Funding Package 22 October 2025 MANUFACTURER of concrete roof tiles, Russell Roof Tiles, has secured an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK to power its next phase of growth. The refinancing deal offers greater financial flexibility, enabling the business to scale up production and invest in ongoing innovation. The funding also positions the company to take advantage of strong growth in the housing and construction sectors. Eight-Figure Funding Package Russell Roof Tiles says a key focus of the investment is accelerating the rollout of its new product, Bute3®, which reimagines tiles by combining three traditional plain tiles into a single format and is now in full production at the manufacturer’s new £18.5 million fully automated line in Burton on Trent. Andrew Hayward, MD of Russell Roof Tiles, said: “Transitioning our banking relationship to HSBC UK has given us the momentum to fast-track the rollout of Bute3®, our most advanced product yet. We’re looking forward to seeing the business continue to thrive.” Russell Roof Tiles Established in 1892 and acquired by the current majority shareholder Juan Prestamo in 2011, Russell Roof Tiles is the largest member of the Crown Roof Tiles Group. Following a major uplift in manufacturing capacity which has led to the business now producing 60 million tiles annually, Russell Roof Tiles is forecasting a 30% increase in turnover over the next 12 month driven by rising demand and continued investment in its operations.
